We’re excited to announce the launch of our new Freeze-Dried Raw Regeneratively Sourced Lamb Lung Treats!
The Open Farm Promise
At Open Farm, we believe pet food should be about more than just what’s in the bag. It should reflect a promise to animals and the planet to Do Some Good. Open Farm is excited to offer to pet parents a treat that is more than just a tasty snack for your dog—it’s a treat that is a part of a virtuous cycle touching every aspect of the food system and working in harmony with nature.

Open Farm’s First Land to Market Verified Product
With the launch of Freeze-Dried Raw Single-Ingredient Lamb Lung Treats, Open Farm is introducing its first‐ever Land to Market verified product— an extension of our CUBES line. These treats are made from 100% pasture-raised animal welfare certified lamb lung sourced from regenerative farms in New Zealand that use regenerative agriculture practices to improve soil health, water quality, and biodiversity.
Land to Market is the product verification program for farms verified by the Savory Institute. A product earns the verification when the farm successfully passes an Ecological Outcome Verification audit, which assesses measurable improvements in soil health, water cycles, land function, and air quality. Our suppliers have shown positive trends over time, ensuring that their land is truly being regenerated.ir land is truly being regenerated.

Our Commitment to Regenerative Agriculture
Regenerative agriculture brings together environmental impact and outcomes, farming systems that support animal welfare and natural behaviours, and ecosystem health, with the additional benefit of great nutrition for your pet! That’s why we made our goal to advance 1 million acres of regenerative farmland by 2030. We are passionate about this goal because regenerative agriculture isn’t just about farming today—it’s about farming for the future. This includes prioritizing plant and animal diversity so that ecosystems on the farm thrive, while bringing pet parents closer to where their pets’ food comes from, proving that business can be a force for good.
It is a nature-first approach in which farmers work to create positive change for land and soil health. They build thriving biodiversity across plants, birds, insects, and wildlife, improve the health and welfare of pasture-raised animals, and are empowered to create their own farming plan that works for their land. It’s a cycle of giving back to the earth while feeding pets better than ever before.
Doing Some Good, Together
Regenerative agriculture is an approach that brings together environmental impact, animal welfare, ecosystem health, and pet nutrition in harmony. One million acres is just the beginning. Together, with our farmers, partners, and community of pet parents, we can grow a healthier future—from the soil beneath our feet to the food in your pet’s bowl.
