We offer a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee on eligible Open Farm recipes purchased through openfarmpet.ca or authorized retailers. If you or your pet are not completely satisfied within 30 days (from delivery for openfarmpet.ca orders or purchase for authorized retailers), we’ll make it right with a refund or exchange.
Refunds are issued back to the original payment method used at checkout; for openfarmpet.ca orders we can process your refund directly, while retailer purchases follow the retailer’s return policy (and we’re happy to help if you need guidance).
Refund eligibility is limited to one (1) refund per SKU (item) per customer or household; proof of donation may be requested before a refund is issued, and approval is subject to purchase verification and at the discretion of our Pet Parent Experience Team.

We'd love to share that we intentionally include fish meal in our dry kibble recipes, as they provide extra nutrition! Fish meal, fish with the water removed, is a concentrated source of amino acids needed for healthy muscles and is a highly concentrated source of animal protein! There are many species of whitefish available. We source primarily hake or the freshest whitefish based on seasonal availability. Our whitefish meal is sustainably sourced and always ocean-caught, never farmed.
We rely on AAFCO guidelines for all our formulation requirements. The protein named in the title of our Recipe makes up at minimum 25% of the recipe per their guidelines!
