Ingredients List

-
Double-sourced protein. Whether it’s chicken, beef or salmon, each protein source in GoodBowl is carefully selected from ethical producers. Our chicken and beef are 100% Animal Welfare Certified, ensuring they’re raised humanely without antibiotics or growth hormones. The salmon is wild-caught in the North Pacific, adhering to sustainable fishing practices recommended by Oceanwise.
-
Whole grains. Our recipe includes non-GMO whole grains such as brown rice and barley, which are naturally gluten-free and fiber-rich. These grains are a healthier alternative to common fillers like wheat and soy in many commercial dog foods. They enhance digestion and supply vital nutrients, including manganese and magnesium, that help boost energy levels—ideal for energetic dogs.
-
Non-GMO vegetables. Every GoodBowl recipe features a generous helping of top-quality vegetables such as pumpkin and carrots. These veggies are packed with fiber, beta-carotene, and other antioxidants that help protect cells and support eye health.
-
Coconut oil. Coconut oil, rich in lauric acid—a type of omega-9 fatty acid—is crucial in supporting your dog’s metabolism, particularly in fat digestion. It’s an excellent energy source and contributes to maintaining a healthy, shiny coat.
Feeding Guide
Feeding your dog GoodBowl kibble is simple, but to get it right, especially when switching from another brand or adjusting meal sizes according to your dog’s size and activity level, here are a few tips.
To ensure a smooth transition to GoodBowl, gradually mix it into your dog’s current food over about 10 days. Begin with a small amount of GoodBowl increasing its share while reducing the old food. This method helps prevent digestive issues and allows your dog to adapt to the new flavors and ingredients.
Also, it’s essential to adjust the quantity of food based on your dog’s weight, age and activity level. Puppies, for instance, need more food relative to their body weight because they are growing and using more energy. For adult dogs, the required amount can vary—active or working breeds generally need more food compared to less active or older dogs.
Here's a simple guide to get you started:
-
Small dogs (10-20 lbs). About ½ to 1½ cups of GoodBowl per day.
-
Medium dogs (30-60 lbs). Approximately 1½ to 3¼ cups per day.
-
Large dogs (60-90 lbs). Roughly 2½ to 4¾ cups per day.
These amounts should be adjusted to maintain optimal body weight and divided into two daily meals. For puppies, meals should be more frequent, about three to four times daily.
Always monitor your dog following any dietary changes. Watch for positive health indicators such as a shiny coat, healthy skin, and normal stools. If your dog experiences digestive upset, like diarrhea or vomiting, consider slowing the transition to a new diet and consult your veterinarian.
Additionally, if your dog constantly seems hungry or leaves food untouched, you may need to adjust the meal portions. Regular veterinary check-ups are recommended to confirm that your dog’s nutritional needs are being met.
